Manufacturing of our bows
Our bows are predominantly made for demanding musicians. Of course, we consider individual wishes of the musicians to achive the most suitable bow while always meeting the highest standard. Our bows are known for their good resilience, the optimal weight distribution, precise workmanship and carefully selected materials.
We only use well seasoned high quality pernambuco wood for our bows. For the frog and the button we use horn and ebony wood, silver and gold for the details and mammoth for the bow tip. For our bows we use Chinese and Mongolian stallion hair. We also use various types of leathers such as goat, kangaroo and nutria leather. For the inlays we use goldfish as well as mother of pearl.

Due to the anniversary of 125 years of Uebel bows, we created something very special as a highlight for our customers. We crafted a limited edition of a special anniversary model, which has never been available at the Uebel bow workshop before.
